Job Description

Are you a qualified teacher looking to work reduced hours?

Do you have experience working with children with additional needs, ASC, SEMH or EBD?

We are currently working with 3 different Local Authorities to help educate young learners who cannot currently access mainstream education.  These roles may be in a library, at a children's home or in a Foster carer's home.

These roles are ideal for teachers who are experienced in working with vulnerable children with SEN who find themselves without a school place.  Due to the nature of the roles, it is vital that you have the following –

  • QTS or QTLS, with experience working with SEN
  • Patience and understanding
  • Believe learning should be fun.
  • Have a good understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Can plan lessons creatively for pupils who require personalised learning.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have some experience and enthusiasm for working with pupils with social communication difficulties and Autism/Learning difficulties, or a desire to learn.
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Have strong emotional resilience.
  • Have empathy and understanding towards young people.

We have various locations across Kent requiring teachers for these roles, so please do not hesitate to contact me should you wish to discuss these opportunities further.
