Job Description

We are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in Medway.

Full & part time opportunities available.

September start.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support EYFS.

• Excellent verbal communication skills for motivating children to learn

• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Responsibilities:

• To work under the guidance of teaching staff to provide a safe and healthy environment for pupils
• Supervise and assist individual and small groups of pupils in lessons
• Help teachers prepare lesson materials and equipment, get the classroom ready for lessons and clear away after
• Observe, record and report pupils progress to teachers
• Help teachers manage class behaviour
• Supervise group activities, including outings and sports events
• Look after children who are upset or unwell
