Reading Recovery Teacher

Full time role

Primary School in Ramsgate

Our client school in Ramsgate are looking to recruit a full time Teacher to start after the October half term for the academic year. Ideally you will have the reading recovery qualification or be an experienced Teacher to implement reading recovery to raise standards and improve progress.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to work on a 1:1 basis with students across key stage 1 and 2. You will be delivering ‘out of class’ reading booster sessions in your own designated area with all the necessary resources.

Experience delivering intervention sessions in English/ Phonics/ Reading is essential. A Reading Recovery trained teacher is desirable however not essential.

In order to be successful in this role:

  • You will have QTS status
  • You must have recent experience across Key stage 1 and 2
  • You must have experience planning and delivering Reading Recovery sessions
