Job Description

This wonderful school is looking to appoint innovative and inspirational special needs teachers to lead a class for children with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning difficulties) delivering a therapeutic and multisensory approach to learning.

If you want to teach in a welcoming, joyful school community, and you share our passion and determination to unlock the potential in every pupil, then we have the ideal teaching role for you!

Experience of delivering a sensory based curriculum is desirable, but not essential, as is experience of working in a special needs setting and teaching pupils with ASD or learning difficulties. If you work in a mainstream setting and are curious about Special Needs Schools, you are welcome to contact us to find out more.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Teachers to join our highly skilled team, making a difference to pupils with profound, severe and complex needs.

Note from the Headteacher -

“At the school, staff work hard to ensure that all of their pupils make excellent progress, and they continually seek to improve the wellbeing of both pupils and staff. Now is an exciting time to join our Outstanding school as we expand to better meet the demand for special school places in Swale. We are incredibly proud our latest Ofsted report. Ofsted recognise that relationships between our staff and pupils are exceptionally positive, and we are delighted that our pupils told inspectors they are very happy at the school and really enjoy their lessons.”

We Offer:

  • A supportive consultant, available 7 days a week.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • A rewarding role where no two days are the same.
  • The chance to make a real, lasting impact on young lives.
  • PAYE – no umbrella company taking a portion of your pay.
  • We pay you in line with the Agency Worker Regulations (AWR) meaning you will be paid equally to a permanent employee.

There are many more reasons to work with us and I look forward to speaking to you about this more.

Apply today to apply for this exciting opportunity!

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff to share this commitment.

All posts are subject to vetting checks including an Enhanced DBS check, relevant qualifications and satisfactory references. An overseas police check will be required by candidates who have worked or resided outside of the UK
