Job Description

Are you a passionate and resilient teacher with a heart for making a difference? We’re looking for an inspiring educator to join our dedicated team in Swanley, a specialist setting supporting children with a range of complex needs, including those in the care system.

This school provides a nurturing, trauma-informed environment where every child is seen, heard, and supported to thrive. Our pupils face challenges that require more than just curriculum knowledge—they need patience, understanding, and a commitment to consistent care.

The grounds are designed for engagement and enjoyment.  Boxing bags hang from trees, outside space to explore, trampolines and more.  The plans for the future are expansive and exciting – would you like to be part of a small, supportive and aspiring school?

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) Or a strong HLTA looking to complete their teacher training
  • Able to deliver English, Humanities and other lessons.
  • Experience or a strong interest in SEN and working with children in care
  • An understanding of trauma-informed practice and attachment-aware approaches
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A calm, flexible, and creative approach to teaching and learning

What we offer:

  • Small class sizes with high staff-to-student ratios
  • A supportive, collaborative team that values wellbeing and development
  • Ongoing CPD including training in trauma, attachment, and SEN strategies
  • A meaningful role where you’ll help shape lives and futures

If you’re ready to teach with compassion, lead with heart, and make a genuine impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Are you a qualified teacher looking to work in a beautiful setting? Do you have experience working in SEND?
