Key Stage 1 Teacher (Full-time/Part-time)

Position: KS1 Teacher
Location: Folkestone, Kent
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (part time available)
Start Date: September 2024

The Role:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for children's academic and personal development. You will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Using a variety of teaching strategies to cater to the individual needs of students and promote their progression
• Assessing student progress through ongoing formative assessment and providing targeted feedback
• Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of students
• Creating a positive and nurturing classroom culture that promotes resilience, respect, and a passion for learning

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students, with a strong understanding of early years pedagogy
• Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
