Job Description
We are seeking a DT teacher (Food and Art) to join our team and be part of an amazing school community.
The school are dedicated to meeting the academic, therapeutic, and vocational needs of their students. Their mission is to create, adapt, and implement functional curricula necessary to meet the diverse individual needs of our student population and increase current and future independence
You will have:
· A sound knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and a wide range of qualifications
· Familiarity with Standardised Attainment Tests
· Understanding of and commitment to the school policies, in particular:
· Participation and implementation of the School Behaviour Policy
· Awareness of Health and Safety implementation in the work place
· Implementation of the school Equal Opportunities Policy
· Knowledge of effective strategies to include, and meet the needs of, all pupils in particular underachieving groups of pupils.
