Job Description

We are working with an academy trust based in Folkestone who is committed to delivering academic excellence.

The trust’s vision is to create schools where children thrive and knowledge matters. Their goal is to deliver a knowledge-led education to their pupils in safe and inspiring environments.

Consisting of three primary schools, we are looking to recruit Primary School teachers to work on a supply basis, providing cover to each school when class teachers are absent.

The role is suitable for NQTs with placement experience looking to gain further experience, or a more experienced teacher looking for a new role with more flexibility than previous roles.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent)
  • Have experience teaching KS1 and/or KS2
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Be enthusiastic, encouraging pupils through engaging and interactive lessons
  • Have knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Have sensitivity and understanding
  • Be flexible and open to change

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out pre-planned lessons
  • Marking children’s work
  • Providing a safe and healthy environment
  • Working flexibly
  • Adhering to the school’s behaviour policies that is already in place
