Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established nurture-based SEN school which has been judged as outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. 

We are looking for an inspirational and nurturing Teacher with a passion for SEN and a creative, innovative approach to delivering the curriculum, to join us and make an impact on the learning of our pupils. We are looking for candidates with the motivation and determination to ensure that students make progress and also to improve and boost their independence as they transition into adulthood. The ideal candidate would  have knowledge around delivering KS2 /KS3 to SEN & ASD pupils. Class sizes are around 10 pupils.

Our School educates young people who have a wide range of diagnosis including ASD, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health needs. Ideal candidates would follow pathways consisting of AQA Unit Awards, Entry Level & Functional Skills. You will be supported in your role by experienced special education leaders who will be available to offer advice and guidance. Effective CPD training and development are available through opportunities for professional development.
