We are now seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapy Lead to join our team and support our students’ communication and learning needs.

The Role:

As the Speech and Language Therapy Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the Speech and Language Therapy provision across the school, ensuring high-quality support for students with communication and language difficulties.
• Assessing and identifying individual student needs and developing tailored therapy plans to support their educational progress.
• Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to integrate speech and language interventions into the classroom.
• Delivering both one-to-one and group therapy sessions, focusing on improving speech, language, and communication skills.
• Supporting staff training and development to enhance understanding and delivery of speech and language strategies across the school.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure the best outcomes for students.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Proven experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
• A strong understanding of speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) and strategies for intervention.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A passion for supporting students with SEND and helping them achieve their potential.
