Job Description

We are currently working with a Secondary SEN school in Tonbridge, Kent. They are recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) experience. 

You will be required to work across Key Stage 3 and 4, within the main school and ASD provision.

As well as working with students with EBD, they also have a provision for students with Autism and communication difficulties, however most referrals are due to challenging behaviour. They have a very therapeutic approach with a welcoming approach.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an SEN school or within a challenging secondary school. It is imperative you have a calm personality and are confident working on a 1:1 basis.

Ideally you will have a DBS registered on the update service and able to provide 2 references covering the last 2 years.
