We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate English Teacher to join our specialist team supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is more than just a teaching role — it’s an opportunity to transform lives.

You will deliver engaging and accessible English lessons to small classes of students who may have experienced trauma, disruption, or difficulties in mainstream settings. Your role will focus not only on academic progress but also on building trust, confidence, and positive relationships with each learner.

Required -

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs or in an alternative provision setting (desirable)
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a trauma-informed approach
  • Able to adapt the English curriculum creatively to meet diverse learning needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual who thrives in a nurturing environment

Offered -

We are a supportive, inclusive provision dedicated to helping young people re-engage with learning and build brighter futures. Our team works collaboratively to provide a structured yet flexible environment that prioritises emotional wellbeing alongside academic development.

  • Small class sizes with high levels of support
  • Ongoing professional development in trauma-informed practice and SEND
  • A committed and welcoming staff team
  • Opportunities to shape and develop a growing department
  • A real chance to make lasting impact in young lives

If you’re ready to bring your passion for English and your belief in second chances into a truly rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
