Job Description

Job Title: Year 6 Teacher (3 days a week - Term 6)

Location: Cranbrook, Kent

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join our team for Term 6. This position is part-time, covering three days a week, and offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the education and development of our students during this crucial stage of their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailored to the needs of Year 6 students.
  • Provide effective classroom management and create a supportive learning environment conducive to academic achievement and personal growth.
  • Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to support individual learning goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of a dynamic and cohesive curriculum.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns or questions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience, preferably within a Year 6 setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to promoting the holistic development of every child.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual needs.
