Criminology Teacher – September Start
Location: Maidstone
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (Negotiable)
Salary: [MPS/UPS – Depending on experience]

Are you passionate about understanding crime and justice, and inspiring the next generation of learners? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Criminology Teacher to join a Humanities/Social Sciences department from September.

About the Role:

We are looking for an engaging educator to deliver Criminology to Key Stage 5 students. The successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons with real-world relevance

  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve excellent outcomes

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental activities

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in Criminology, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field

  • Experience teaching Criminology or related subjects at post-16 level is desirable

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
