Kent Teaching Solutions is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Kent.
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential? We would love to hear from you!ย No experience is necessary, and full support will be given.
We work with a range of fantastic secondary schools and have opportunities for Teaching Assistants to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them engage with their learning and thrive in the classroom.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to students.
- Helping students who require additional support with their learning.
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Encouraging student participation, confidence and independence.
- Supporting students with additional learning needs, including SEND where required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has a positive, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Enjoys working with secondary-aged students.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is reliable, flexible and able to use their initiative.
- Has previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting (desirable, but not essential).
