Job Description

Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: TN15, Kent

A highly regarded secondary school in the picturesque surroundings of TN15 in Kent, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Classroom Support: Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons, providing support to students both individually and in small groups.
  2. Resource Preparation: Prepare and organize teaching materials, ensuring classrooms are equipped for effective learning.
  3. Student Engagement: Foster positive relationships with students, promoting a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
  4. Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment, implementing behaviour management strategies as needed.
  5. Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support: Work closely with students with special educational needs, implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting their learning journey.
  6. Assessment and Feedback: Assist in the assessment of student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and teachers.

Working Hours:

  • 8.30am - 3.15pm

Salary:

  • Competitive, based on qualifications and experience.
