Role Overview:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our educators and enhancing the learning experience for our students. You will work closely with teachers to assist in lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in education and wish to gain valuable classroom experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Help create and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
  • Prepare teaching materials and resources
  • Provide feedback to students on their progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support student learning
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Degree
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with children and young people
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Previous experience working or volunteering in a school setting is desirable but not essential
