An independent school in Tunbridge wells are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computing Teacher to join their dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will teach Computing to years 5-8, inspiring students to develop a love for technology and computing.
This is a part-time position, with the teacher expected to work 2.5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Computing lessons.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of current computing trends and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Education.
- Experience teaching in an independent school setting.
- Familiarity with project-based learning approaches.
