We are seeking an outstanding individual to support the school with assisting individual young people who are experiencing difficulties in attending school, owing to their health (physical/mental) condition and related emotional difficulties, to re-engage with the education process and to act as an advocate for young people.
The job necessitates considerable travel to multiple sites and engaging with many different schools and professional bodies. We are looking for a highly original and innovative individual, able to make an exceptional contribution to the school. The role –
- Provide targeted 1:1 support to empower individual students.
- Build trusting, practical relationships with families to bridge the home-school gap.
- Partner with external agencies (CAMHS, Early Help, Social Services) for cohesive student care.
- Manage caseloads effectively, keeping accurate records for support plans and EHCPs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming culture across the school community.
