Geography Teacher – Maternity Cover

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a highly regarded secondary school in Maidstone seeking to appoint a talented Geography Teacher to cover a maternity leave.

The school has a reputation for excellent teaching and strong pastoral support, providing a welcoming environment for both staff and students. You will be joining a supportive Humanities department, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of Geography across the curriculum.

The Role:

• Full-time maternity cover

• Teaching Geography across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons

• Supporting the wider department with enrichment opportunities where possible

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management

• Be passionate about helping students achieve their full potential
