Our client is a good secondary school looking for 10 x Functional Skills Tutors to work with their year 7 to 10 students.  This role is to start ASAP and is ongoing linked to covid catch up funding.

This is a very exciting opportunity for any individual to springboard their career into teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging personalised learning so that all learners make progress and achieve their individual goals.
• Work with students from Year 7 to Year 10 taking intervention groups.
• Work alongside the subject leads to ensure students are given extra support where advised.

Ideal candidate for this role will:

• Have Literacy and Numeracy qualifications at Level 2 or above.
• Ability to work and communicate at the highest level, to think strategically and to meet student’s needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in running intervention groups.
• Able to work as part of a team and on a 1:1 basis.
• Experience of coaching/mentoring people with mixed abilities Experience of teaching/training or working with groups of adults in appropriate field.
• Use your initiative, be organised and flexible.
