A teacher has been praised for the heartwarming lesson she is teaching her pupils this Christmas.
Instead of receiving the gifts herself, children are being asked to redirect their generosity this year.
Last week, Steff Ravenhall's daughter Harriet Warring, 7, came home with a letter from her teacher Mrs Gardner, Chronicle Live reports.
Preempting the mountains of chocolates and red wines that would come her way, she sent out the following letter to parents.
