Year 3 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Location: Dartford, Kent,

Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Term 6 (to extend into Next Academic Year)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave starting in Term 6. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students, contributing to their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum, fostering a love for learning among students.
  • Provide additional support and guidance to children with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met and promoting inclusivity within the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to create a positive and nurturing learning environment conducive to academic success and personal growth.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and addressing any concerns or queries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience, preferably within a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with SEND and implementing nurture support strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the school and its students.
