Job Description

SEND Teaching Assistant – Full time - Dover

We have a great opportunity for a SEND TA at a school built only a decade ago and offering a wonderful educational setting.  A mainstream school with an outstanding specialist provision unit for students aged 11 – 18. All students within the unit have an Education Health Care Plan and are working at levels which are significantly below their age-related mainstream peers.

This role would include:

• Working with children with ASC, MLD and SLD
• Supporting students throughout the day
• General teaching assistant in the classroom, 1:1 and intervention work.

You do not need any formal qualifications to be a SEND Teaching Assistant, but some relevant experience of working with children would be beneficial.
