Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR

The Role:
This role at the centre of our school and within a successful and dynamic Humanities provision. You will be instrumental in our mission to provide every student a great education and real choices in life, regardless of their background. A passionate practitioner, you will deliver high-quality lessons that inspire a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
Our ideal candidate will:
โข Qualified teacher with a Degree in a relevant subject
โข Be an outstanding teacher, able to motivate and challenge learners of all abilities
โข Have experience of teaching Geography up to Key Stage 5
โข Exude a passion for the subject which is evident in their day-to-day classroom practice
โข Demonstrate high levels of ambition and optimism regarding what the Academy and its students can achieve
โข Have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
โข Have experience in planning and preparation of schemes of work
โข Have evidence of continually improving the teaching and learning of Geography through schemes of work and extra-curricular activities
โข Have an understanding of the strategies needed to establish consistently high aspirations and standards of results and behaviour
