We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Science Teacher to join our specialist team supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is more than just a teaching role — it’s an opportunity to transform lives.
You will deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons to small classes of students who may have experienced trauma, disruption, or difficulties in mainstream settings. Your role will focus not only on academic progress but also on building trust, confidence, and positive relationships with each learner.
Required –
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs or in an alternative provision setting (desirable)
- Strong behaviour management skills and a trauma-informed approach
- Able to adapt the curriculum creatively to meet diverse learning needs
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual who thrives in a nurturing environment
