The Role:
We’re seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work closely with students in our Mechanics and Construction departments. You’ll provide in-class and one-to-one support to learners with a variety of additional needs, helping them to overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do:

Support students during practical and theory lessons

Adapt materials and break down tasks to suit individual learning needs

Work closely with tutors and support teams to track progress

Promote independence, confidence, and a positive learning attitude

Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:

A patient, approachable and flexible attitude

Experience supporting young people (in education or other settings)
-
An interest or background in construction, mechanics, or related trades

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A willingness to learn and develop professionally
Desirable but not essential:

Knowledge of EHCPs or working with learners with SEN

Experience using support strategies for neurodiverse learners

Level 2 or 3 Support qualifications (or willingness to work towards)
