Are you an Art Teacher looking for a part time role? Are you available Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week to deliver GCSE Art lessons to pupils at this wonderful independent school in the historic city of Rochester?
We are looking for a qualified art teacher for a 1 year maternity cover placement to support pupils in KS3/4 with a diagnosis of ASD.
Are you –
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching Art at GCSE level
- A deep understanding of Autism and a commitment to inclusive, student-centred teaching
- Creativity, patience, and adaptability
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Duties –
- Delivering a rich and engaging GCSE Art curriculum tailored to individual needs
- Creating a safe, inspiring learning environment
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents/carers
- Contributing to EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
