We’re seeking a dynamic SENCO and Assistant Principal of Inclusion to join our senior leadership team and champion inclusive, high-quality provision for every learner.
There are 4 sites in Kent for pupils with complex SEMH needs. The schools create a safe, nurturing, and ambitious learning community, helping learners to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
The Role:
As SENCO and Assistant Principal for Inclusion for SEN, you will:
- Lead on the strategic development SEMH provision across the schools
- Champion high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour support
- Drive inclusive practices and whole-school wellbeing initiatives
- Line-manage and support staff to deliver targeted interventions and differentiated support
- Work closely with families, external agencies, and professionals to create personalised pathways for pupils
- Contribute to the school’s wider leadership, vision, and culture
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Is a qualified and experienced SENCO (or working towards the qualification)
- Has a strong background in SEMH education and a commitment to trauma-informed practice
- Is an inspiring leader with the drive to influence whole-school improvement
- Communicates clearly, confidently, and with compassion
- Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and purpose-driven environment
