We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our specialist SEMH provision, delivering GCSE and Functional Skills English to students who require a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. The role is for 3 days a week, with English as the main subject and one Humanities lesson each week. Between 4 and 6 in a class.
The Role:

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated English lessons tailored to individual student needs.

Teach both GCSE English Language and Functional Skills, ensuring strong progress and positive outcomes.

Use a trauma-informed, relational approach to support students with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Foster resilience, self-esteem, and academic achievement in a supportive and structured setting.
About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English.

A strong understanding of SEMH and trauma-informed practice.

A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to behaviour and emotional regulation.
