Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?
Do you want to be part of a warm, inclusive, and supportive school community where every child is truly known and valued?

We believe all children have the right to an education. We look beyond the complex, and sometimes challenging circumstances of each pupil to find the potential within.

The majority of the pupils have experienced turbulence in their schooling and many have severe, complex, or profound needs that have a significant impact on their cognitive development, their social, emotional development and their communication skills. The school aim to support pupils in a safe school environment, and work closely with parents, carers and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes, to maximise life chances and ensure they can be as independent as possible.

The Role
As the SENCo, you will play a vital role in shaping and delivering high-quality SEN provision. You will:

  • Coordinate EHCP processes and annual reviews
  • Work closely with staff, external agencies, and families
  • Oversee and support the delivery of individual education plans
  • Monitor progress and ensure appropriate interventions
  • Inspire a small but dedicated team of teaching and support staff

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination
  • Has a strong understanding of SEN best practice and current legislation
  • Is an excellent communicator with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Brings compassion, creativity, and resilience to their work
  • Has experience in a specialist or inclusive education setting

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and caring environment where wellbeing is valued
  • Small class sizes and excellent staff-to-pupil ratios
  • Ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities
  • A chance to have real impact in a close-knit school community

If you’re ready to take the next step in your SEN career and want to be part of a team that genuinely transforms lives, we’d love to hear from you.
