Year 1 Teacher – Maternity Cover – Temporary (January 2025-July 2025)
A Primary school near Maidstone are looking for a Year 1 teacher to start in January 2025. This is for a maternity cover until July 2025.
This post is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers.
The successful applicant will:
- Be enthusiastic and committed
- Have knowledge of the KS1 English and Maths curriculum
- Create a positive learning environment for all students
- Be an excellent practitioner and team player
- Demonstrate outstanding classroom practice, behaviour management and be committed to ensuring the best outcome for pupils
- Have the ability to work as part of a team whilst also being able to work independently
- Be an effective communicator and establish positive working relationships with pupils, parents & adults, staff and the wider school community
- Have a passion for education and the learning of young people
Person Specification:
- Must hold QTS or equivalent
- Experience of teaching
- Creative and ambitious
