About the Role:
We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools across Folkestone. You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-on-one support to pupils, and help create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons
- Support pupils with varying needs, including SEN
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to enhance learning outcomes
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting (preferred but not essential)
- A genuine passion for education and child development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility, patience, and a proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
