We are seeking eager and passionate Teaching Assistants to work in an independent school and college for children and young people with a diagnosis of ASC.

Preparing the Classroom:
- Setting Up: Getting the classroom ready for lessons by arranging desks, materials, and resources.
- Tidying Up: Clearing away after lessons to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Lesson Support:
- Materials Preparation: Assisting teachers in preparing lesson materials and organizing school equipment.
- Individual Support: Working individually with students to improve their performance, answering questions, and providing additional help as needed.
- Progress Reporting: Recording and reporting students’ progress to the teacher.

Classroom Management:
- Focus and Behavior: Helping pupils stay focused during class hours.
- Supervision: Supervising group activities, sports events, and school outings.
- Behavior Management: Assisting teachers in managing student behavior.

Student Welfare:
- Health and Well-Being: Looking after children who are unwell or upset.
- Safe Environment: Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children.
- Enthusiasm: A confident and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with technology and computers.
- Independence: Ability to think quickly and work independently.
- Reliability: A reliable and friendly individual.
- DBS Check: Holder of an Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
