The successful candidate should have experience teaching History at Key Stages 3 & 4, including GCSE level.
The right candidate will have:
- Excellent subject knowledge
- The ability to deliver an inspiring curriculum and create the best learning environment
- Knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses
- Excellent communication skills
- QTS, PGCE or equivalent
High standards of behaviour management, professionalism and high expectations of pupils are also required, along with the the ability to be patient and remain calm in stressful situations.
